Build, design and oversee web projects, including researching, writing, and editing. Conceived and created several websites and mobile sites for clients and for fun, including the news site Boston Nine-5 and the lifestyle site, RootsLiving. Updated the news, business and front pages of this online service to give members up to the minute information on national and international events. Also created special sections on news events when warranted, such as the war in Bosnia and the federal budget crisis.

Responsible for guiding and editing all editorial content for four weekly newspapers. Worked closely with reporters on developing and writing news stories, and with photographers and designers on photographs and graphics. Newspapers won numerous awards from the New England Press Association, including one for investigative reporting on the notorious Fells Acres Day Care child molestation case.
Providence Business News and newspapers in Greater Boston
Worked my way up from general assignment reporter to editor at various local newspapers in the Greater Boston area before becoming managing editor of Providence Business News in Rhode Island. Directly managed teams of writers, editors and photographers to produce award-winning work at these publications. As a reporter I covered several beats, including police and fire departments, city government, state government, and the computer, health care, and environmental industries.
